Government's narrative on progress
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has finalized a draft Vendor Performance Management (VPM) Policy, in consultation with other government departments and agencies as well as with select members of the VPM Supplier Advisory Sub-Committee. Consultations have been held across the country in March 2019. PSPC has initiated discussions within the Government of Canada and with industry on pilots of the VPM, which are expected to begin in summer 2019. Shared Services Canada is also moving forward with pilots for VPM, one of which is close to contract award, and another which is about to go out for solicitation (April 2019).
